Do my sub-account balances show up in my main dashboard total?

No. Your main dashboard total only includes the metal held in your primary account. It does not include any metal or funds you have transferred to your sub-accounts.

To see the balance of a specific sub-account, you will need to select that account individually. Think of each sub-account as a separate "bucket" within your profile; while they are linked to you, their totals are kept separate to help you stay organized.

The funds held in your master account or any of your sub accounts may be moved freely between each other.
