# My loved one passed away. How do I access their account?

If you are reading this, we are sorry for your loss. In order to access your loved one's account, please do the following: Email a copy of the death certificate, a copy of your Power of Attorney or Will, and a copy of your driver's license to support@sound.money. Once we have received the necessary documents, we will transfer the account over to you. You may then choose what to do with any remaining funds in the account.
