# Is it possible to somehow link a bank account that is not listed?

Soundmoney® uses [Plaid](https://plaid.com/) to help users connect their bank accounts to our platform using their bank login credentials. [Plaid](https://plaid.com/) currently supports over 2,000 financial institutions, and they're continuously working on adding more. If your bank does not appear on the list, there may be two reasons why:

*   Your bank is not supported by [Plaid](https://plaid.com/).
*   Your bank is not supported by our current integration with [Plaid](https://plaid.com/). 

Because we require additional bank details to complete our user verification, this limits the number of banks we can support with our Plaid integration. Plaid may support over 2,000 financial institutions, but we cannot support them if these institutions do not collect or share the information we need.   

We understand how frustrating this is, and we constantly share user feedback with Plaid and our Product Team to improve our services.
