# Can I cancel my SoundMoney account?

Yes. To close your account, you must first bring your asset balance down to $0.00. You can do this by following these steps:

1. **Empty your Metal Vault:** You must either request **Physical Delivery** of your whole bars and coins (click 'Buy/Sell' then the green 'Ship' button) or **Liquidate** your assets into cash.
2. **Liquidate Fractional Metal:** To sell, click 'Buy/Sell' under the asset and enter the cash amount you wish to receive. The funds will move instantly to your 'Buying Power.'
3. **Withdraw your Cash:** From your Dashboard, click 'Buying Power,' then 'Withdraw Funds.' You can choose **ACH Transfer**, **Wise**, or a **Mailed Check**.
4. **Final Step:** Once your balance is exactly zero, contact our support team to officially deactivate the account.
